Guest Post Guidelines
I will be happy to publish well written and in-depth content on a subject that will benefit my readers, and that fits the theme of this website. However, I do have some guidelines I must ask you to follow. I am quite picky about what I publish here. A badly written and poor piece of content will benefit neither us nor you.
So let’s dive right into it. And remember, these rules or guidelines will make the post more valuable for both us!
Guest Post Submission Guidelines
Rule #1: Word count must be AT LEAST 1000 words, shorter texts will not be published.
Rule #2: The content must be unique. It cannot have been published anywhere else on the internet, including your own site or blog. I will use Copyscape.
Rule #3: The content must be valuable to the readers. This means that it must be detailed and coherent with the theme of this site. No fluff! Start with a catchy introduction to entice the reader to continue reading. Always use subheadings, and include bullet lists when appropriate for enhanced readability.
Rule #4: Once the post is published the rights to the content in the post are owned by The Natural Makeup Review, we retain full copyright on all material published on the site.
Rule #5: The post must contain 4 or more links to authoritative, high-quality and relevant sites. The links should benefit the readers. They are not to be affiliate links or links to online shops but should be links to informational pieces that are relevant to the topic being written about.
Rule #6: In your bio, which can be around 40 words, 1 or 2 links with anchor text of your choice are allowed. We will make them dofollow. The links must lead to a blog or site you own. Affiliate links are NOT allowed.
Rule #7: Post must be impeccable concerning grammar and spelling.
Rule #8: I will promote the post on the social media I am using at the time, and I ask that you do the same.
Rule #9: Finally, I also ask that anytime someone comments on the post you have written, you respond to the comment.
How to submit:
Send your pitch AS A PDF to [email protected]. If we like it we will ask you to share it as a Google doc. Images can be sent as attachments or you can provide the image URL.
Please do not be upset if we do some editing to the content for greater clarity and to make it as beneficial as possible to our readers.
